About the Department:
 
The Department of Geography and Rural Planning was established in 2015 as a separate entity from the Department of Rural and Urban Planning. Its primary goal is to advance the field of rural planning by professionally examining the physical characteristics and potential for sustainable development in rural areas. The department provides Master's and Doctoral programs focused on structural planning and the management of sustainable development in these regions.
