A PhD Program in field of Applied Geoinformatics (Remote Sensing and GIS
A PhD program "Applied Geoinformatics" has been established at the Department of Remote Sensing and GIS, the University of Tabriz, Iran, supported by the Department of Geoinformatics - Z-GIS of the University of Salzburg, Austria. Applications should be addressed to the University of Tabriz and all administration processes will be organized by the University of Tabriz. Students may have a possibility to apply for a research stay at the University of Salzburg but this is not a mandatory part of the curriculum nor is funding guaranteed. PhD Theses may be supervised jointly by faculty members from Salzburg and Tabriz.
