Joint Meeting of the Dean of the Faculty of Planning and Environmental Sciences and the Director General of Environmental Protection of East Azerbaijan Province

The Director General of Environmental Protection of East Azerbaijan Province met with the Dean of the Faculty of Planning and Environmental Sciences.

According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Tabriz, in this meeting, the history of collaborations between the faculty and the General Department of Environmental Protection was reviewed, and various topics were discussed and exchanged.

Among the issues discussed in this joint meeting were: real-time monitoring of wildfires through the online satellite imagery system of the Faculty of Planning and Environmental Sciences, a proposed cooperation project through the University of Tabriz’s Industry Liaison Office with the General Department of Environmental Protection, and annual monitoring of specific environmental areas using drone systems.
