New dean of the Faculty of Planning and Environmental Sciences has been appointed

Dr. Safar Nasrollahzadeh the president of the University of Tabriz appointed Dr. Hashem Rostamzadeh as the new dean of the Faculty of Planning and Environmental Sciences.

Dr. Hashem Rostamzadeh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Climatology at the Faculty of Planning and Environmental Sciences. He previously served both executive and academic roles, including serving as the head of the Applied Climatology Research Center at the Department of Geography, being the director of the Northwestern branch of microdust research institute, representing the university in the provincial clean air working group, and being selected as the top researcher in industry-university collaboration. He has authored a book, and served as supervisor for more than 70 dissertations and theses, published over 50 articles in reputable domestic and international journals, and presented more than 50 papers at conferences and seminars.
